About Our Community
Pinewood Village of Melbourne is located in the south eastern corridor of the City of Melbourne. Located off Parkway Drive, Thrush Drive is between Croton and Stewart Drive — approximately 1/2 mile from the main entrance to Wickham Park.
Wickham Park is a large public park operated by Brevard County Parks and Recreation, offering residents convenient access to outdoor recreation.
Pinewood Village of Melbourne was developed in 1979 by Double H Development Corp and has 120 total homes. The community consists of 87 single family homes, 15 duplexes, and 1 triplex.
It was named Pinewood Village because of all the pine trees on the property when it was developed. As seen by driving by the property today, many of the original trees still exist — a living testament to the community's natural heritage.
The total property is 8 acres in size and the community offers a clean, crisp pool for residents to enjoy.
